 I love going out for afternoon tea. There is something quite special about sitting in one of the old grand hotels and having plates upon plates of beautiful small cakes served whilst enjoying a good cup of tea. But what about recreating this special moment at home for friends and family?? In this class we are going to create a traditional and delicious afternoon tea together. We will of course make some scones -how you serve them cream or jam first, is up to you! Then we will make a scrummy Walnut & Coffee cake. We are also going to make some Cherry Bakewell tarts. For these, we will make the pastry from scratch using one of my favourite recipes. The tarts will be topped with an almond frangipane which goes perfectly with the cherry jam.

All you need to add is a warm cup of tea and some good friends
