Christmas is definitely the high season for baking! There are so many delicious treats to choose from which is why I’m running 3 Christmas Baking classes this year.
If you haven’t had a piece of Christmas Stollen yet (there is no stealing here - just try and pronounce it with a German accent!). Then you are in for a treat. The Stollen originates in Germany, it’s an enriched bread with dried fruits and in the centre you’ll find a log of marcipan.
We are also going to do some Christmas Macarons! We will bake some green and red macarons and fill them with a chocolate and peppermint ganache.
Finally we will make some Chocolate truffles filled with homemade caramel. If you have never had a go at making caramel before - it can be a bit daunting - then join this class and I will teach you the tips and tricks for delicious sea salt caramel.
So in this class we are going to bake:
Stollen
Macarons with chocolate & peppermint ganache
Sea salt caramel truffles
Everything will be wrapped up beautifully either to be shared with friends or family - or to be eaten by yourself…
