This class is all about Sourdough. In this class I will teach you how to build, maintain and bake with your own natural sourdough starter. Sourdough baking can seem a bit overwhelming even if you have had a go at it over the lockdowns. But don’t worry, we are going to cover all of the steps of Sourdough baking during this session. We are going to knead different types of dough, and discuss the benefits of including Sourdough bread in your diet (besides it being delicious it is also quite healthy and good for your gut!). Excess sourdough starter is something all sourdough bakers struggle with. Do you just throw it out? Seems like such a waste. We are not into waste, so I will teach you how to use up your sourdough excess in some delicious sweet recipes. In addition to some tried and trusted recipes you will take home two starters - rye and wheat, my written guide on sourdough baking as well as all of the things you bake in this class.
